After sampling in Oslo, Annette Taugbøl's team from NINA moved to the northernmost of all the sampling regions planned within the ECOPOND project.

As after the sampling in region of Oslo, eDNA and eRNA samples from the Trondheim area were provided to Karolina Bącela-Spychalska's team from the University of Lodz. Whereas water samples for chemical analysis were tested by SGS AS laboratory in Norway and JS Hamilton laboratory in Poland (Chlorophyll A).
The sampling in Trondheim was the last scheduled in the spring season. However, Trondheim is first on the list of sampling planned for the autumn. Our ECOPOND team from the University of Lodz will go there already in mid-September 2021. Following that, they will travel to Oslo.
We keep our fingers crossed for the success of this expedition!
In the meantime, take a look at the photos from spring Trondheim as they are presented in our GALLERY.
