As last year it was not possible to collect a sufficient number of amphibian samples, this spring our team from the Institute of Environmental Sciences at Jagiellonian University , under the lead of Prof. Wiesław Babik, gathered the additional samples of smooth newts Lissotriton vulgaris and common toads Bufo bufo. Sampling took place first in the Krakow area and then in the Tricity area.
